Termales del Ruiz Hotel

The Termales del Ruiz Hotel was built in 1937 and, since 2014, has been operated in partnership with the Carretero Hotel, striving to create a space that lives in harmony with the beautiful surrounding environment, abundant with water, clean air, and the unique vegetation of the magical páramo.

We dream of preserving and conserving the páramo ecosystem. For years, we have worked to ensure that the stars continue to shine brightly in this magical place, that the birds continue to sing, and that water continues to flow from its springs.

Termales del Ruíz, a roadside hotel, offers the best experience in the region’s pure sulfurous hot springs and birdwatching, with over 64 species, including endemic and near-endemic ones.
